North Wake Youth Organization (NWYO) is a registered nonprofit organization dedicated to contributing to the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, and social potentials as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national, and international communities.

NWYO executes their mission by serving as the sponsoring organization for youth leadership programs in the North Raleigh area.  NWYO provides resources to ensure the leaders and participants of the programs are equipped for success.  Examples of the resources NWYO provides include funding equipment for outdoor programs, storage and transportation of equipment to include a fully stocked trailer, as well as coordinating meeting spaces for weekly programs and special events.   Additionally, NWYO provides oversight and guidance to the leaders of the unit level programs to ensure all youth are participating in a safe and high quality program.
